Frequently asked questions

  • What will the Google BigQuery and Cube integration allow me to do?
    +

Integrating Google BigQuery with Cube allows you to pull relevant operational data into Cube, ensure continuous syncing for up-to-date information, and seamlessly extract data to your chosen reporting tool.

  • What data can be transferred as part of a Google BigQuery and Cube integration?
    +

Transfer up to eight data categories to Cube to build a hierarchy or structure you’ll use for reporting and analysis. Default categories are account, scenario, and time, and up to five custom categories. Imported records can include up to 25 attributes, or metadata, for additional details.

  • Is it redundant to use Cube if we already use Google BigQuery?
    +

Not at all. Data warehouses excel at storing enormous quantities of information, but not all of this information will be relevant or organized for your financial planning and analysis activities. Cube extracts the essential data from Google BigQuery and structures it to support your day-to-day work.

  • Can the integration between Google BigQuery and Cube be customized to meet my specific business requirements?
    +

Absolutely. You determine which data and associated metadata Cube retrieves from Google BigQuery. Additionally, you decide on its organization and integration within Cube to align with your business needs.

  • What's the typical setup time for a Google BigQuery and Cube integration?
    +

    Two to four weeks.
