FP&A Software for Nonprofits | Grants, Funds & Programs | Cube

Industries · Nonprofits

Every dollar tied to its grant, program, and restriction.

Cube is FP&A software for nonprofits that ties every dollar to its fund, grant, and program in one governed layer. The board packet and every funder report pull from the same numbers as the audit.

Volunteers sorting donations together Every fund · tracked · live

The problem · scrutiny

Everyone wants the same numbers in a different format.

Lean finance teams carry the reporting load for the board, the auditor, and every funder, and each one arrives with its own template and its own calendar.

Restrictions blur

Restricted and unrestricted dollars blur together everywhere except the audit.

Every funder, its own template

Each funder wants the same figures in a different format on a different calendar, built by hand.

Budgets live outside finance

Program budgets sit in spreadsheets owned by program staff, disconnected from the GL.

Funds, grants, and programs tracked in one governed model your board and funders can trust.

One connection · every report

How does FP&A software for nonprofits keep every restriction straight?

Cube connects your fund accounting GL, payroll, and donor systems to one governed layer, then delivers decision-ready numbers to spreadsheets, the board packet, and every funder report.

What changes · the payoff

One set of numbers, every audience.

Does it solve my problem?

Restrictions tracked by the model

Fund and restriction are dimensions on every transaction, so the split maintains itself.

How is it different?

One model, every funder format

Each funder report is a view of the same governed numbers, so a new format is a new view.

Can I trust it?

Audit-ready by default

Every figure traces to the transaction, and every change is logged.

Questions nonprofit buyers ask.

Implementation is finance-led and guided by a named onboarding team. You connect your GL and donor systems, map funds, grants, and programs as dimensions once, and validate against your last audited statements before opening access to program owners. The process is designed for finance to run without outside consultants.
Cube connects to hundreds of source systems, with pre-built connectors for major platforms such as Sage Intacct and QuickBooks. Donor and program systems without a pre-built connector connect through flexible methods, so CRM and payroll data can feed the same governed layer.
There is no switch. Cube works inside Excel and Google Sheets through a patented bi-directional sync, so program budgets stay in the spreadsheets their owners know while finance governs the model underneath them.
Cube is SOC 2 Type II audited, supports SSO and SAML, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and applies role-based permissions so program staff see only their programs. Every action is captured in a full audit trail.
Every figure in Cube traces to the transaction. A program or fund total opens to its accounts and then to the source entries in your GL, which is the same trail your auditor follows.
Pricing is based on the size of your model and the number of users. The team will scope it with you on the demo, sized to how your funds, grants, and programs are structured.
